Award-winning film-maker Dan Clifton has made over thirty hours of documentary films for both British and international broadcasters. Recent work includes drama-documentaries 'Escape from Turkey', and 'Human Body: Pushing the Limits', which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy and RTS award for Excellence in Visual Effects. His 2001 Channel Four film about Tory spin doctor Amanda Platell made front page news across Britain, while 'The Engines That Came In From The Cold', his C4 film about the Russian space programme, was nominated for a Science Writers’ Award.

In 2008 Dan’s first screenplay CASTLE ROBIN was selected from over 300 entries for the prestigious EquinoxeTBC script development programme. Dan is a graduate of the University of Oxford where he gained a First in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and was Editor of student magazine Isis.
